Johnny was the captain of the Thirteen Finches debut album maiden voyage! He understood our sound and how we wanted to present these songs: organic, not-too-slick or overdone. Like everything he produces, he treated our music right and knew exactly how to capture performances and mix these tracks.

He is part owner of Crackle & Pop! Studios where we completed the third stage of tracking and mixed the album. He’s in high demand as a producer and engineer, and he is also a highly accomplished musician himself. Recently he’s been touring with Neko Case playing keyboard and guitar, he’s released a solo album and a new album with his band the Tripwires. He’s also performed with artists such as Mark Lanegan, Bronwynne Brent, Case/Lang/Viers and Maggie Bjorkland, to name a few...
