ABOUT THE BAND

In 2016, Tal Goettling and Shannon Harris discovered a second love in an already abundant relationship: the natural ability to sing and write songs together. They began performing as acoustic duo Thirteen Finches, eventually adding veteran players on bass, electric guitar and drums to give their vocal-centric songs the sonic grit as originally intended. Thirteen Finches released a nine-song album in January 2019, followed up by a busy year of live shows and events, most notably opening for the English Beat at Foodstock 2019 and filming live performance videos at Earwig Studios. Joining Tal and Shannon on stage in 2020 are Tim Bethune on electric guitar, Daniel McGillicuddy on bass, and local Seattle legend Ben Smith on drums.
